I Signed Up For A Craft Show

This article won’t contain my tips and tricks for doing a craft show, I do have a blog about that called Craft Show Preparation which I wrote after I gained some experience. This blog is to share that I am doing my very first craft show on May 21st, 2022 at Liberty High School in Hillsboro, Oregon. I’ve been busy for the past few weeks trying to figure out what I’ve gotten myself into. So far I have created a list of what products I want to make to bring and what else I need to prepare for the show. I have no idea what will happen but I’m excited to try this and to get my name out there in the community. My number one goal is to build a list of potential client and hopefully receive some custom furniture orders. Secondary to that is to sell the products I bring and hopefully make a profit.

Here’s the list (so far, I keep adding to it) of products I will be selling:

  • Hardwood Cutting Boards (two sizes. 12” x 9” and 18” x 12”)

  • Live Edge Charcuterie Boards (two sizes. Large >24 inches and Medium <18 inches)

  • Coasters

  • Cell Phone Stands

  • End Table - to showcase my furniture building

  • Cutting Board Holders

  • Planter Boxes

  • Storage Crates

  • *Potential - Picture Frames

  • *Potential - Small Trays/ Valets

As I finish some of my products I’ll share pictures in My Work and on my social media. Hope to see a few friendly faces at the show!
